ที่จอดค่อนข้างจำกัดชนิดชิงดำ เพราะมีอยู่แค่หน้าร้าน
ไปจอดเอมโปเรียมแล้วเดินมา น่าจะสบายชีวิตมากกว่า ออกกำลังกายหน่อย ฮึบๆๆ
นึกไม่ออก ไม่ไปถูก อยากรู้ว่าหน้าร้านที่จอดยังว่างไหม โทรถามพิกัดได้
เหมาะมากในทุกโอกาส เว้นโอกาสฝนตก (-_-‘ )
Yamato An is a Japanese restaurant located in a small alley just a little bit before Sukhumvit 39. For your land mark, there is a small common restaurant right at the entrance of the alley.
There are few parking spaces, since you can only park in front of Yamato An.
It might be more convenient to park at The Emporium and come here on foot. You will also get a good exercise.
I you’d like to make sure and check things first, like availability or how to get there, you can call their number.
This place is nice for any occasion, except when it rains. (-_-‘ )

มีของหวานอีกมั้ง ไม่ได้ถ่ายมา (^^’ ) แล้วก็จะมีเมนูพิเศษค่ะ
สนนราคาก็ไม่แรงมาก ประมาณ Zen ราวๆนั้น

น่าจะเป็นหมูนึ่งราดมิโสะขาวค่ะ

The price is quite OK. Similar to Zen or around that.

If I remember correctly, this was Steamed Pork with White Miso Sauce.

น้ำสลัดรสชาติโอเค เป็นแบบญี่ปุ่นนะคะ รสออกเปรี้ยวกำลังดี ไม่โดดมาก ไม่หวานเจื้อย
ผักไม่สลด ไม่อมน้ำ ปลาดิบไม่เละ แค่นี้ก็พอใจละ..

Or assorted Sashimi salad..
Salad dressing was alright. It is Japanese-styled Shoyu-based dressing which is a little bit sour and not too sweet.
The vegetables were fresh and didn’t have too much watery. Raw fish was fresh and firm. Enough to satisfy me.

ไส้เป็นหมูสับปรุงรสค่ะ
ปีกไก่ทอดมาร้อนๆ สุกทั่วถึงดี หนังกรอบเล็กน้อย พอยั่วยวนใจคนควบคุมน้ำหนักให้ตบะแตก
น้ำจิ้มเป็นน้ำจิ้มอย่างน้ำจิ้มเกี๊ยวซ่า

Chicken Wing Gyoza, or fried stuffed chicken wings.
The stuffing was seasoned minced pork.
Chicken wings were freshly fried, served hot and well-cooked, and a little bit crispy.
This crispy chicken skin can make a person on diet break their own rules.
Dipping sauce was like Gyoza sauce.
Tasty. =)

มาแบบประทับใจพอควร สำหรับราคาที่จ่ายไป..
ยิ่งตอนนั้นไปเพราะซื้อดีล ยิ่งประทับใจใหญ่เลย วันนั้นไปกัน3 ญ 2 ช.. กลิ้งกลับทุกคน อิอิ

It was quite impressive for the price paid, especially because on that day we went there after buying a deal.
We had 3 women and 2 men. Everyone went home with full belly. Hehehe.

ปลาหมึกเคล้าแป้งบางๆ ทอดมาไม่สุกเกินค่ะ
กินแล้วรู้กายรู้ใจว่ากินปลาหมึก ไม่ได้นึกว่ากินหนังกะติ๊กอยู่ 555
คนดื่มเบียร์น่าจะชอบค่ะ แกล้มกันเพลิน
Let’s have a half time break with fried calamari tentacles…
These were lightly battered and weren’t overcooked, giving full flavor of squid and now too chewy like a rubber band. LOL!
If you drink beer, you will like this dish. They go well together.

ราดมาด้วยแกงกะหรี่รสชาติเข้มข้น ไม่หวานเจื้อย..
Next dish was dried curry fried rice.
This photo might make it seem ordinary.
But in reality, it was superrrrrr delicious!
The fired rice wasn’t too moist, just feels perfectly dry, and topped with curry sauce with deep flavors, not just sweet.

จานนี้ธรรมดา ผ่านเลยละกัน..
We had another break with squid and white miso sauce.
This one is just fine, so let’s skip it.
มาถึงร้านนี้ ไม่สั่งราเม็งก็กระไรอยู่..
เพราะใน Ad. คุณเจ้าของร้านเค้าภูมิใจในราเม็งของร้านม๊าก..
เลือกสึเกะเม็ง หรือราเม็งจิ้มจุ่มมาลองกันค่ะ..
จิ้ม.. จุ่มในน้ำซุปที่มาด้วย.. อุดมสาหร่าย อ่า..

หลังไปกิน คุยกับน้องหมี Amenoฯ ก็ไม่ค่อยประทับจิตราเม็งร้านนี้เหมือนกัน
เอาเป็นว่า สำหรับร้านนี้ ราเม็งว่านขอ”ปล่อยผ่าน”ค่ะ
Once you step into this restaurant, it will feel weird if you don’t order any Ramen.
Since in the advertisement, the owner said Ramen is a very proud dish of the restaurant.
We chose to try Tsukemen or dipping Ramen.
Dipped the Ramen noodles in the soup….soup so full of seaweeds. Hmm..
Um.. Well…
No comment.

After my visit, I talked to Amenoฯ and we both agreed that this restaurant’s Ramen aren’t that impressive.
As for me, for this restaurant, I would pass the Ramen.

I ordered this because I used to try one at Waka [my old review] and liked it.
But for here.. No comment also.. I will pass again. (^^’ )

ใครชอบความกรุบกรอบ ไม่ควรพลาดจานนี้
เพราะอัดแน่นมาทั้งหนังปลาแซม่อนกรอบๆ มีไข่กุ้งเพิ่มความกรุบกรับในแต่ละคำที่เคี้ยว
ไหนจะผักกาดแก้วอีก.. อร่อยดีค่ะ = )
Final order was Salmon Skin Maki..
If you like something crispy, you should not miss this dish.
It was full of crispy-fried salmon skin, Ebiko which added to the texture each time you chew,
and also the iceberg lettuce.. This was delicious. =)

ก็มีทั้ง Hit-and-Miss ค่ะ
โดนใจอย่างแรงก็ปีกไก่เกี๊ยวซ่า ข้าวผัดกะหรี่แห้ง ปลาดิบและโรลต่างๆก็เข้าที ปลาสดดีค่ะ สลัดปลาดิบก็ไม่เลว
แต่ที่พลาดก็อย่างที่บอกไป
ราเม็งจะลองชิมดูก็ได้นะคะ สำหรับคนที่ชอบราเม็งน้ำใส รสชาติอ่อนๆ
แต่สำหรับว่านคงแค่ครั้งเดียวค่ะ กลับไปกินเมนูอื่นๆของร้านที่โดนใจดีกว่า อิอิ
ชิมแล้วใช่ กินแล้วชอบ มาบอกกันบ้างนะคะ = )
– Conclusion for Yamato An –
They have both hit and miss.
What really got me were Chicken Wing Gyoza, fried curry rice, Sashimi, and rolls.
Their fish were fresh, and the Sashimi salad was not bad at all.
The rest were as I mentioned.
You might want to try Ramen, especially if you like clear soup Ramen with mild flavors.
But for me, I won’t order it again. I would rather save my stomach space for other menu which had hooked me, eiei!
